Inspiration

I know this is ridiculously varied, but it encorporates everything I love. The first one combines victorian with modern style, something I've always wanted to do and this has been done so well. I think it's because I'm so dreamy and romantic, but I've always loved victorian style. It's mysterious and even more important, magical. That's why I love steampunk so much. Which reminds me, I really need to post about that. The next is mystery with innocence, delicateness and timelessness. I love the long coat and and skirt style. The third was chosen exclusively for the color scheme-earthy, warm fall colors. My favorite. I also love the bag. It reminds me of the bag in old movies people would take with them when they had to hurry somewhere. To get away. The third might by my favorite, from The Satorialist. Maybe it's because I'm on a corduroy kick. The colors once again are amazing. It's comfy, casual and it's been a large source of inspiration for me lately. The last one....well, I just really liked the coat. Honestly. It reminds me of snow and I love how the black clashes with the white of snow. It makes me think of warmth and coziness. Eastern Europe, even.

Leggings!

I want pant leggings. I know, I said that I hated it when people wear leggings as pants. And I do, but like everything it can be worn well. And, I've seen it (Kate did that semi-recently except with thermal underwear). These are also thicker than your average legging; not cotton.
I think I decided on the last pair. In black. I'll wear it with a coat, a white shirt and a pair of flats (I wish I could with some sexy platform heels). Now I just wish I went to Telegraph today when I had the chance.

You got style.

Sorry that two of the pictures are so small :( I couldn't save the big one....

1) I love. I've been enjoying a similar style lately sans the shoes....
2)This is too cute! She just looks like an interesting person. Reminds me of the second book of A Series of Unfortunate Events. At their uncle's mansion with all kinds of educational and magical things.
3) I do like the folk look, just now I think it's been overdone. Nevertheless, this is a perfect example of it.
4) Looks like a stylish girl enjoying a new city. I like the colors and how simple it is.
5) I absolutely love this. It's a picture I found from fashion week. To me, it's a futuristic winter formal dress. Though I'd wear it as much as possible if I owned it... <3

Fairy Tales

I like fairy tale clothing. Of course I would never wear it, but I'd like to picture me wearing a puffy foresty-fairy dress in the forest while going on a magical adventure. But don't we all?

This one doesn't really belong, I guess, but it just reminded me of a 1940s thing. Especially of a Jewish child (let's be honest, Pan's Labyrinth all the way...)

VELVETEEN

I felt I should create a post dedicated to my jacket. <3>

It's not even the best coat ever made.

But it's up there (with Kate's. I've been attempting to track down a similar piece...but nothing is as good)

Shit, it's one of the best. CLASSIC, I should say.

Shopping lately

The only shopping I've done lately have been seriously worthy purchase.
1) My first pair of dark, sexy, Levi's. I haven't bought a new pair of jeans for about two years. I love them.
2) I found this jacket as I was leaving Jeremy's (on collage street, seriously one of my favorite stores now). It's velvet, long, black and has military buttons. LOVELOVELOVE. I love it.

I also tried to buy some Hunters but they only had purple. And now it's too hott :( So I bought some Kiehl's instead. I like Kiehls.

True Life: I am a shopaholic

Oh geez. I want black pumps with a chunky heel. Pumps I'll feel comfortable in because the heel's not about to break in half (that's how I feel). I even like the wedges, though I usually hate wedged shoes. I also don't really like peep toes. It must be the fact that I've been stalking seaofshoes.com too much recently. She wears a pair like the first a lot, but they're by Chloe. The second are Acme Jeans and the lasts are my favorites. My inspiration. I want these only with a calmer price tag.

All brought to you by oaknyc.com (one of my favorite stores)

I still haven't gotten over Kathryn Amberleigh.

And arggg! Jefferey Campbell! You and your black boots! I want too many black shoes. Luckily none are in my price range or out of stock. Except not :(

Kathryn Amberleigh

I spent a large portion of today looking at her shoes and fell in love with all of these (especially the last ones). And guess what? All of them are sold out. This has happened way too much to be possible.

And yes. The first pair are glittery high heels.

RINGS!

I've always loved simply jewelry. My favorite necklace at one point was the class Tiffany's necklace with the silver chain and the silver heart-shaped dog tag that said 'Please return to Tiffany's' but I lost it two years ago...I tend to lose jewelry so at this point in my life, I don't trust myself with small jewelry such as rings...ahhh.

Hunter

Hunters. When I was on fourth street I saw these and went in immediately. They are quite pricey and I have no need for them, but I want them anyways. When I go to college, right? I'll use them and then they'll be worth the $115 and I can buy the fuzzies for $35.

This is the color I want them in:
I wish i didn't love these right as the constant rain stopped.

Little White Dress

I really like this dress. The hood, and shape. But, I don't think I could ever actually buy it because it will make me look fat. She doesn't look fat because she's a twig. And no, I'm not saying I think I AM fat. Loose things don't fit my body, unfortunately.

Ode to Chanel

Ohmyfuckinggod Chanel.

Layers!

Because of Kate's amazing coat, I'm really digging layers right now.

Shoes

These two boots cost a one-way ticket to Prague. But they make me happy.

I want too many things

$60

$26. Too much?

I've been looking at these for over two months. I don't know if I should...
